Overview

The Gargoyle Group of companies is one of the largest privately-owned equity options trading firms in the U.S. Our mission is to create and manage strategically positioned, value-adding, alternative investment funds for high net worth and institutional investors.

Gargoyle’s guiding philosophy is that each investment decision must have a statistical probability of success. While probability of success does not guarantee success, Gargoyle believes it’s a good place to start. Next, we believe in the virtues of diversification and we design our strategies to capture its benefits. And finally, we are committed to identifying and practicing the most effective and efficient means of hedging. Our experience in the options arena provides us with a considerable advantage in each area described above but, as long-term practitioners in the financial markets, we acknowledge that favorable theoretical results have little value unless accompanied by favorable investment results.

Gargoyle believes that investors should receive the most favorable investment terms allowed by an investment strategy. Our investors receive the most liberal liquidation terms and the greatest transparency available in our industry.

Finally, Gargoyle principals are meaningful investors in each Gargoyle investment fund created and managed by Gargoyle. In every instance, our interests are aligned with our investing partners.
